It's a twenty two minute documentary about a revolutionary new Car being developed in Australia. The vehicle is set for production and public distribution within the next couple of years . The car has an engine that runs on nothing more than compressed air. The design was showcased in Ford's international competition which sought to develop a 21st century Model T - a car for the general public living in every country around the world.

The documentary highlights the winner of Ford's competition - The Model T Squared. In the process, it shows how the current course of mass producing electric cars is prohibitively expensive and therefore does not constitute a viable solution to our dependency on fossil fuels. Unlike the electric car, The Model T Squared can be quickly and cheaply mass produced. Furthermore, by relying on nothing but compressed air, the design could eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels and help to ensure that we won't have any more oil spills like the current crises in the Gulf of Mexico. It is a timely piece, neither preachy nor politically weighted, which informs, captivates and inspires.

  • @MrROTD You lack the ability to do maths or understand basic physics. Air cars in reality go about 5 miles the promoters claim stupid distances (120 km 200miles take your pick) so technically illiterate fools will invest. Their are no independent tests confirming the impossible speed range and distance claims and NO cars have ever been sold. Air motor systems are only 20% efficient compared to 90% for battery motor systems. A $30,000 PV system needed to recharge an air car to go 5 miles Dumb

  • Great Idea just needs more development.

  • @fizzguts You lack imagination, this could be charged from solar or wind plants on your house or better yet have solar panels on the car pumping it up a little as you drive., they already have Air cars that have enough range to get most people to work or shopping. perhaps the tanks can be designed for more pressure in the future. do you work for an oil company? they'd hate any technology that can help replace Gasoline and oil.

  • Pity these idiots didn't spend two minutes with and engineer or someone who could use a calculator so they could understand just how miserable compressed air is as a storage medium and how inefficient it is. Designers, "I hope I believe" a curse on society. "This engine is extremely light" yes and it's ONLY 6 HP for fucks sake and it uses air at an APPALLING RATE

  • come to germany and work for Mercedes-Benz or BMW! :-)
