The Tuvan people - along with the Yellow Uyghurs in China - are one of the only two Turkic groups who are mainly adherents to Tibetan Buddhism, combined with native Shamanism.During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries Tibetan Buddhism gained increasing popularity in Tuva. An increasing number of new and restored temples is coming into use, as well as novices being trained as monks and lamas.

Religious practice declined under the restrictive policies of the Soviet period but revived somewhat since the
early 1990s.

Huun-Huur-Tu (Tuvan: Хүн Хүртү Khün Khürtü) is a music group from Tuva, a Russian republic situated on the Mongolian border.

One of the distinctive elements of their music is throat singing, in which singers sing both the note and the note's overtone, thus controlling two tunes simultaneously. The overtone often sounds like a flute, but it is a human's voice.

Instruments the group uses include the igil, khomus, doshpuluur, tungur (shaman drum), and others.

Turkified anatolians are &95 native anatolian and %5 Turkic/asian.This is right.But we are proud of calling ourselves 'Turk'.Because Turkism has an ideology.It is not something that an european can esily understand.Turks are the children of nature,their ideology is not racist but anarchist.We are brothers,even if we mixed even if we have %1turkic DNA,we call all Turks our Brothers.This is not sth about genetics,it is about ideology and culture.

The Tuvans are Turkic and have nothing to do with the Turkified Anatolians...Their mix with the Mongols is obvious(most of the faces you see are brown).Even the 45% of the vocabulary they use is derived from the Mongol language...
