If Z was watching Martin, it doesn't give Martin the right to viciously assault Z, to break his nose, break his ribs, pound the back of his into the concrete, because he Zimmerman asking questions. If you were viciously assaulted (if that turns out to be the case -- and evidence points to that in this case) by someone bigger than you striking you and pounding your head into the concrete, I think you would use whatever means you had to defend your life.
