The vocal was probably done in Chicago but the track was definitely recorded in Detroit by Dave Hamilton as the backing for 'Challenge my love' Tobi Lark on his own Topper label. When asked about the Monique recordings years later he not only had no knowledge of them but confirmed that no permission was ever given for the tracks to be used. How they ended up in Chicago is still a mystery.
