Extreme Cover From An Extreme Band - More Than Words

Another song recorded when I was in a cover band about two years ago now. Same one as the other cover. Also recorded around 10 in the morning. Unlike the other cover, I think this one has a bit more original voice. It probably sounds a bit more like me than my other cover. I basically just added in some harmonies where I thought they were needed. The original version probably has more. This video is really for the people who are waiting for other videos from me. Enjoy this for a couple days and then I'm going to try cranking some real magic out.

Too much auto tune on this.

@Tuba408Bass I've been thinking about this lately and I think Chris (the guy who mixed this and edited it) may have used some pitch correction on it. However, let's not confuse pitch correction with auto tune. If it were auto tuned, then I wouldn't hear any obvious pitch mistakes. I can hear more than one pitch mistake in this.  I'll admit though, after listening to this more closely, I can say that he probably used pitch correction. That wasn't my call though.

Sorry, I actually don't know. This instrumental was supplied to me by my band. Our guitarist must have pulled off some magical shit to get it.

auto tune is definitely on, you can tell easily, but it still sounds great dude

Can I ask you a favor? Since you say you can "easily" tell that my auto tune is turned on, can you go listen to my "Like A Stone" cover and tell me if it's turned on in that as well? I just think it's interesting how we used the same recording methods for this song and Like A Stone but yet no one has said anything about auto tune being turned on for that.

actually you can adjust it so that slurs aren't effected. he isn't using it in this song but it's possible to keep yourself in tune using auto tune without slurs that skip from note to note
