Elvis Presley (Youre So Square) Baby, I Dont Care
Written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Elvis recorded it April 30, 1957 at Radio Recorders. It was featured inhis 1957 film, Jailhouse Rock. You don't like crazy music.
You don't like rockin' bands.
You just wanna go to a movie show,
And sit there holdin' hands.
You're so square.
Baby, I don't care.

You don't like hotrod racin'
Or drivin' late at night.
You just wanna park where
it's nice and dark.
You just wanna hold me tight.
You're so square.
Baby, I don't care.

You don't know any dance
steps that are new,
But no one else could love me
like you do, do, do, do.

I don't know why my heart flips.
I only know it does.
I wonder why I love you, baby.
I guess it's just because
You're so square.
Baby, I don't care.
Baby, I dont care
Baby, I dont care
Baby, I dont care

I don't know why my heart flips.
I only know it does.
I wonder why I love you, baby.
I guess it's just because
You're so square.
Baby, I don't care.
Baby, I dont care
Baby, I dont care, care, care, care
Baby, I dont care, care, care, care

  • @GiminiReeM personally I think his best was in King Creole, then Jailhouse Rock and a few others like Flaming Star... but yeah, JR is good period... pity not alot of people know the movie today

  • @blackhorse099 hell yeah

  • Is it true that it was Elvis who played the bass intro ?

  • holy crap this is my girlfriend's song! shes so square but dammit i don't care

  • just like every song he sang. perfection was hit!

  • Just did this song at jtyler5...Enjoy it! John Tyler

  • On a sad note,,his pretty co star Judy Tyler was killed in July 1957 in a car crash (I believe in Montana) and was only 24. She had just completed this and an episode of Perry Mason (aired in December 1957) A life tragically cut short.

  • any bitch who ever got to kiss elvis was SO lucky

  • love it

  • It's Just the Beast in Me Classic Line Classic Movie Classic Song
