  • This is the song that should have won that year.

  • This is a good example to show that a jury can make mistakes. This song was far superior than the ABBA song that won in '74.

But in our hearts, this song was the winner.

  • Questa si che è una bellissima canzone!

  • The song proved to be a big pan European hit in 1974, peaking at Nr. 8 at the UK SIngles Chart with the English version "Go (Before You Break My Heart)" with "Si" on the flip side. Gigliola released an album in English with 10 songs in 1974, including "Go" and "This is My Prayer" (English version of "Non ho l'eta") and also recorded the song in French, German, Spanish...

  • Sì, all'amore ho detto sì ,......

  • Yes, this song is best than Abba's Waterloo. But Abba is a classic, and they did better songs after Waterloo. Apart from that, at first Abba chose "Hasta Mañana" (best song than "Si") to perform for Eurovision, but they did prefer "Waterloo" finally.

  • The number 2 of 1974 was far better than the winner.....

  • Super song ..thanks peter

  • I am an Abba Fan and I'm Happy that Abba Won! If they had Not they would be nobodys...*:( I'm sure that Gigliola is Singing somewhere Even Today...*:) Ciao!

  • Uma beleza perfeita e imortal!

  • @unagondola I agree totally with your comments! I also loved Abba but this was a performance from a superstar who owned the stage as she sang this superbly atmospheric masterpiece. I also loved the English version 'Go', which surprisingly managed to sound brilliant in the translation. I think she also scored a top 10 UK hit with that version. Thanks for posting this : )

  • es una diosa, sus canciones lindas, tiernas y dulces como ella
