With the warm Arizona wind pelting his forehead and his entire body vibrating from the mighty roar of the engine, Roger Keeney takes a brand new 2010 Ford Mustang convertible on an amazing ride, doing donuts on the pavement and amassing speeds of up to 90 mph.
Its a remarkable experience for a man who has been blind for the past 20 years.
The sixty-two-year-old Keeney won the chance to drive the new 2010 Ford Mustang by participating in The 2010 Mustang Unleashed contest, which asks people to describe their ultimate Mustang dream experience in 250 words or less.

We've posted the latest chapters of the story. To see Roger behind the wheel hitting speeds over 100 mph look for "Speeding Without Sight" and "Blind Behind The Wheel" in our playlist!
This right here is a great story. Even if it's just a marketing ploy for Ford, they made a dream possible for this man which probably would have otherwise been impossible.
Mustangs are not my favorite car. I'm a vette guy personally, but I have driven a few stangs and they are good cars. Thank you for this Ford. Its about time that we cut out all the talk and actually did something. It makes me happy to see you doing this (even if it is for advertising). Cars are a way of life for some of us. Thank you for giving this man a chance to experience that life again.
