Back To December - Jemi Story ; Episode Two

Just quickly posting.. Just remembered i have something i need to do

Selena told me where everything was in the bedroom and in the house. It was about the one time she spoke to me in the hour ive been here.

Selena: So where did you do?

I sit on the floor crossed legged. She is sat on her bed looking at me

Demi: Excuse me?
Selena: Oh come on Dems. I know you recognise me, I havent changed that much
Demi: You're my best friend Selena?
Selena: Do you know another Selena?
Demi: I thought you lived with your mom?
Selena; I did
Demi: What happened?
Selena: She passed away about a year ago
Demi: Oh. Im so sorry
Selena: its okay. I got over it. My dad came back into my life which was a good thing
Demi: Yes but I should have been here but I ran away from everything here when something went wrong and it was stupid of me
Selena: Maybe but you did it because you lost someone you cared about
Demi: Yes but it made me not be here when you needed me
Selena: Yes I did need you but I got by and you're here now so its okay
Demi: I still feel bad
Selena: Please don't. I really do understand why you left. WE just need to put it behind us and catch up and get on with the future and not worry about the past
Demi: Your right. Sel before we carry on. I need to ask you something
Selena: of course
Demi: You'll be honest with me?
Selena: Of course
Demi: Did you lie to me about Joe or was he really cheating on me?

I see her smile fade, I know she wasn't expecting me to ask but how long did she think it was going to be before I asked. If she lied to me I could forgive her, I know that I would. She is my best friend and I wont ever hold anything against her but if Joe really cheated then I know that I can never trust him again

Selena: I lied. Im sorry. I saw how serious you and Joe were getting and I got jealous. I thought I was losing my best friend
Demi: Sel you'll never lose me. And I forgive you. I just needed to know
Selena: You forgive me?
Demi: Yes but I think I need to apologise to Joe
Selena: I don't think that's a good idea
Demi: Why not?
Selena: He never over you. He doesn't go out, he went to college but now he's been back for a week and he's the same as before, if not worse. It really hurt him Dems. I realised I was wrong when I saw him
Demi: Then I definitely have to go see him
