You remember back in the day when you had a dial up internet connection and you couldn't use the phone when you signed on AOL or something if you had one phone line? And remember the sound it would make when it was connecting?! Or how about taking your film to the store to get it developed? Haha do they even do that anymore?

Yeah man. Geez, my first cell phone had a green screen with no graphics. Very primitive. You could send text messages and make calls. That's it. I can't believe that used to be normal to me. Our perception of time and of getting older, such as the things you and I are saying, is nothing new. People have been experiencing this forever. But I never thought it would happen to me. I thought I'd be in high school forever. So it blows my mind when I stop and think about it.

I saw this in the movies when it came out...I can't believe how long it's been. You know this movie is old from a scene like this one where the internet is being introduced and explained to the characters. I don't think you could get away with that today. The internet as we know it today was still relatively young back then. It's funny seeing this now. Time just goes by so fast and we just roll with the changes in such a way that when you stop and look at it, it's really crazy.
