Follow along with this pattern by using this link for the pattern. http://www.allfreecrochet.com/Baby-Sweaters/Amys-Newborn-Cardigan Follow along. Mikey made his sweater by using Haze Yarn by Estelle Yarns, and Reduced his hook to an F to make this a preemie size. He's followed the pattern to the letter. By changing your hooks changes the outcome of the sweater. By using a K size Hook and thicker yarn, you can make your sweater up to 1 year size without having to change measurements. Use your crochet hook to create this crochet pattern. Mikey suggests this pattern isn't difficult to follow and beginner may be successful in reaching the outcome without much trouble.

  • On more thing - I believe you do these for charity so is it a good idea for your followers to make and mail one of these to you for your charity?? I can hardly imagine how many of these you would see come in to you from followers as an appreciation. I am sure everybody find your tutorial too easy to make mistake with. Thanks again.

  • Hi Mikey, I love this video. I am in aw at how simple this is to do. I started five days ago crocheting...never never done it before ever but I had this idea for an invention and bought some yarns and needles. I haven't made my product yet but I am pregnant with my son and saw baby booties here on youtube so I decided to plunge in and learn to make some. I now have three booties, one cacoon and a hat...AND NOW thanks for helping me get his first sweater done.

  • Mikey, I love this video, you explain everything so easily and not only that but with this tutorial you can make so many styles of garments, thank you so much, great start for the new year. Please make more tutorials like this one for babies..

  • I LOVE THIS PATTERN!!!! Thank you so much for doing this. I have a 5mo. granddaughter and another grandchild that will be born in January/February. This is truly the most simple sweater that i've seen. I love the way the sleeves are made. I would love to convert this pattern into adult size. I've never crochet a sweater before, but this makes me want to give it a try. You've made me so happy. Thank you so much, and my future grandbabies thank you.

  • Glad to see your coming back to your old ways. I dont have know of any babies but this is really cute. I would still love to see done towel toppers or toilet paper covers. Some fun different ones.

    Welcome back!!!!!!
