Awesome! I refuse to fly and be groped by the TSA, so I've been researching alternative options. Driving long distances is seemingly exhausting and in my opinion far more dangerous.. so private train cabins seem to be the best option :) Thank you for the informative video!

@mommachilders I ate the food on the Crescent (another southbound running Amtrak train) recently and I agree with Mike; it's very good food, and very close to the quality of a fine restaurant. If you have a sleeper car, your food is comped in the dining car, except for alcohol and if you should choose to leave a tip for your server (which I will do if the service is good.)

i love love sleeping on a train.. never have insomia on a train!
Leaving from Philly to Orlando next weekend with this type of train. Can't wait!!!! What's the food like on the train???

@mommachilders The food is really good! It's not like airplane food, they actually have ovens and stoves onboard the train to cook your meals
