buckethead isnt even playing here.

its ironic how you proved beyond a doubt that youre simply interested in spewing hatred, regardless of the musical merit of this band.

the new GNR are carrying on the legacy. they dont owe the 5 million copies of CD sold or the 1 million ticket sales for their 2006 tour to anbybody except themselves.

Chinese Democracy is an accomplished musical acheivement. it received several strong reviews and this was an acknowledgment of the song-writing ability and musical prowess of the newer guys, not the olds ones.

pretending that no other musicians of merit exist in the world besides the old line-up is absurd.

1 important reason for the delay of CD, by the way, was slash's endless litigation against axl.

you talk of Lies, AFD, UYI as if theyre independent of axl. simple undeniable fact is that it was AXL who formed GNR. slash/duff werent even in the first line-up. from the start GNR went through several changes. yet nobody started crying that "this isnt GNR" but a hilarious double standard kicks in with slash who CHOSE to walk out.

try making some sense. slash leftGNR in 1996 &duff in 1997. you think people didnt know of their departure by the time Chinese Democracy came out in 2008? that would suggest that slash's countless collaborations& Velvet Revolver got zero attention from the entire world.

people knew EXACTLY what they were buying with CD. the entire album was streamed on GNR's myspace page.

as for axl "making fans wait", an artist isnt a factory whose obligation is to throw something out incessantly.
