Video from the IAAPA 2009 trade show in Las Vegas of Namco's newest light-gun shooter, Dead Storm Pirates. The game has a Pirates of the Carribean flare to combined with a style similar to Sega's Let's Go Jungle. This has more of a focus on co-op shooting than LGJ did however and it also makes use of a ship rudder wheel which makes for some interesting moments in the game. At the show the software was about 60% complete so this will probably see a release in the US late Q1/early Q2 2010.

  • Namco Announces Big 3 Gun Shooting for PS3 and will include:Dead Storm Pirates,Time Crisis 4 and Time Crisis:Razing Storm

  • @uouvictuorxD Yep I already heard. They just released this to arcades at the end of May and they already have the console port. I was expecting them to give this some time before the home release, sadly I was wrong.

  • This game reminds me of let's go jungle but with pirates.

  • CAN SOMEONE UPLOAD ALL THE STAGES!!! I WANT TO SEE GAMEPLAY!!!

  • @theatarian yeah but it will never capture the expierience that the arcade version can do. where else can you get a moving seat with inclosed cabinet and a wheel you have to turn? sure it'll be nice to play it on PS3 if its not possible to find dead storm pirates for a short time but I think personally the arcade version is way more fun especially with a extra player :D

  • @theatarian Expecting to be release at same date of Playstation Move

  • @heardofrvb thats what i thought but i thought they brought some new ideas to the table... looks fun - hope to play it one day soon.

  • Namco's take on "Let's Go Jungle"?
