Why does Geoffrey need to wear a sweater in the Rainbow house when Jane can sit in her garden wearing short sleeves? Has Jane ever knitted before or was she just starting? I think she should have started by making George a scarf as you can't really go wrong with a scarf. I hope she kept it up anyway.

At 1:05 Rod looks right at the camera.

I found it interesting that there were two cue dots at the end. I thought two cue dots were a new thing since sponsor credits started in the UK.

Yeah the two cue dots have been going for as long as I can remember. I think they were supposed to indicate when an ad break is due.

@nostalgiamaniac You know what it is interesting too see this episode of rainbow after so many years it is great too see the bit at 0:00 I vaguely remember that bit at 0:00 but I love that bit at 0:07 0:08 as well this has too be the very best episode of rainbow ever recorded I like song give a smile sung by rod and freddy in this episode of rainbow I mean I love that bit at 0:07 0:08 thank you for uploading this it does bring back so many memories from the last broadcast of this episode in 1987

@lisaglitters Yeah I do too I love that song in college a few days ago I fell out with a student which I was mates with for 2 weeks then I fell out with her after some stupid arguement which me and her had in college and Rod Jane and Freddys song give us a smile made me think about that song and I felt a bit like Jane did in that episode too be honest and I felt mainly a bit like Jane and a bit like George you know all lonely like George was feeling when Zippy Bungle and George went outside

Well you see Jane Is thicker skinned than the others and doesn't get cold easy. She did continue knitting for a while afterwards but without much success so she packed it in..
