@takarifreak Ok, I was just curious if there was some kind of exploit involving healing. Though since you dont get hit I guess it is moot.

You can pawn that Golem a lot faster if you use Lucca, Chrono, and Robo. Have Robo heal and Chrono and Lucca use Fire sword. I did just a few days ago myself. ;p

you have a very beautiful voice, takarifreak

I had no idea you could beat Golem so easily by swapping elemental attacks. I used to get beaten regularly until I did a little powerlevelling, equipped Ruby Vests on everyone, and had Crono and Lucca do Fire Sword 2 while Frog healed. Even then, I needed a little luck. A little humbling to still be learning new things about a game I thought I had mastered back in the Clinton years.

SPOILER! Stuff happens and potential sidetracking :P

Thank you for the answer takarifreak. Hope to see the new features soon :-)

I think Lucca got her ideas of science from Ema Skye.
What happens if you use a healing spell, will he heal himself? Or does he, the golem pussy cat, just copy attacks?

@jobe7997 He just copies attacks done to him. It's a counter attack of sorts, except he wastes time to charge it, so to speak. As long as you keep alternating like I did (you can throw physical attacks in the mix too), besides the intial attack, he can't even do anything and you won't have the need to heal anyway.

What has changed in this version to the old SNES version? I loved that game back then. And thank you for this lovely vids :-)!

@DooM75x There's animated cutscenes, many techs and monsters were renamed, some of the dialouge was redone (in most cases, it's simply better written and closer to the original Japanese version than the US SNES), and there are two completely new areas as well as an additional ending, as well as new items and enemies that are available only in said areas.
