James Taylor performing "Sweet Baby James" from September 13, 1970 on BBC. This performance is from a show called "James Taylor in Concert: Sings James Taylor." As many of you may know, this song was written for his nephew James back in 1969 while he was traveling back to North Carolina.
Thank you everyone for the positive feedback on this video and about James Taylor, I am glad that they are still a bunch of people out there that enjoy music that isn't always heard as much now a days. Thank you and I hope that you take the time to view some of my other uploaded videos.

My mom used to sing this to me everynight before I went to bed. I couldn't sleep unless she sang it to me. <3 I wish music like this was still popular.

Why do all of your song sights feel like I need to pay money. I have loved your music forever, but please, I just tried to pull up this album, and they were asking money to here it. Just like when I tried to pull up "In The Pocket". I really needed to hear Junkie's Lament, because herion killed my cousin.

When my grandson James was born, he was handed to my daughter + she sang it to him - the first thing he heard.
