Who created God?
The Creator of the universe cannot be preceded by non-existence; otherwise, He would need another god to create Him; and that god, if he is preceded by non-existence, would need another god and so on. Thus, we would have an endless chain of gods without reaching a **causeless cause** to be the source of the existence of the universe.
Then we have to deny the existence of the universe. We would also have to deny ourselves because we are a part of the universe.

@BloodTar Well, hence the word hypothesis. But apparently Bill is stating it's God because we can't give solid proof......Ironic. So if he can't give solid proof....guess we can believe its physics! Oh but wait his proof is.....we can't prove otherwise, it has to be God. Hypocrite in his own sayings and doesn't even realize. Or maybe he does! More attention. Go get 'em Bill!

Not that I would ever defend O'reilly on any subject. However, none of the explanations put forth in this video are considered rock solid, evidence based, empiracle FACT. They're all simply the best guesses (theories) that todays science has put out. In 100 years, science will likely look back and laugh at a majority of our conclusions.

at 0:38 ha completly stumped, absolutely speechless. You can see it in David eyes he does know how to respond. then he realises he is talking to a man with the IQ of a damp cloth

This is not proof this is your point of view. The big bang theory is not conclusive evidence or fact it is believe it or not a theory. Maybe as man evolved his explanation of how we came to exist did to. Doesn't nessicerialy mean they're right. Who knows what happend truth is... Well that comes back to your own understanding and opinion.
-
@RoseColoredIris We don't know what happened before the big bang. There are a lot of theories around that each have some merit. We may never know what happened before (assuming "before" has meaning), and certainly not in my lifetime. Just like Copernicus never knew about radio pulsars. Doesn't mean they didn't exist, just that he didn't know about them. Same deal here - just because we don't know what was there, doesn't mean it was god.

@PinkErica doesnt matter, as long as he waking others up. we like "fake" colbert over this christian colbert. and btw, u never know, there r so many closet atheists. who know, bcuz of his family or his job or for any other reason he is not coming out. he has given us many hints, this is not the only vid where he is supporting rationality and science.
-
@RoseColoredIris well u r being bit too negative and harsh. " We are FAR from knowing any kind of truth". science has given us so many answers to so many things. erm theory of gravity, solar system, evolution, germ theory, ur computer etc etc. we can go on n on. we KNOW that big bang happened->background radiations, even u can see them. we knw life can originate frm non-living things, it's been partially proved in the lab but complex life is bit hard, as it takes millions of yrs to evolve.

@Conspiracyknowledge get ur head outta thr dude. science is getting closer n closer to find out how everything came into existence. once u look at the subatomic particles and their behavior u realize things are not the same as we think they r. read about quantum fluctuation or particle duality atleast. the whole energy of the universe is ZERO, matter is canceled by antimatter but during big bang 4% ( known universe) matter escaped anti matter, somehow, givin birth to our universe.
-
But what happened before the big bang, Nothingness? Then one can ask what happened before nothingingness? and what before that? The same could be said about "God," if "God" created the universe what created "God" and what created God's creatore. You could go on for infinity. I think it is purely arragant that humans think they know the secrets of the universe. Humans can barely take care of themselves let alone discover the secrets of reality. We are FAR from knowing any kind of truth.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
anyone who honestly believe that an entire universe can be born out of NOTHING is simply brain dead. the question is LONG beyond is there a creator ? the question is, WHAT is that creator??
Conspiracyknowledge 5 months ago
@Conspiracyknowledge If the universe needs a creator, why doesn't a creator need a creator? It is a special pleading argument, really. And if things can exist that don't need a creator (ie God), why suppose the universe needs one?

Doesn't 6 30 kind of prove his point. We just happen to be in the perfect spot
DaneCookfan777 7 months ago
@DaneCookfan777 God is omnipotent, right? So he wouldn't need to put us in the "right spot." If he needed that, he'd be far from omnipotent. Life could exist in the cold depths of space if he wanted it to. It could exist on the surface of the sun if god wanted it to. Yet it doesn't. It only exists where we'd expect to find it naturally.
