I have 2 of these in the back of a Ford Eplorer and the box is 5 square ft per sub and it stops my heart.

@parkkillers You are too young for this sort of thing, you should be at least 18 so you could enjoy driving down the road and pissing off drivers in front of you at a red light.

those 18s need a box twice the size for optimal performance. you will need to remove the back seat for the upgrade, unless you need the backseat for some hanky panky.

At what point does putting to big of a subwoofer in a car this small ruin the sound? It's pretty much acting like a bandpass box at this degree of intensity, effectively changing the resonant frequency of the speakers... EFFECTIVELY destroying the sound.
