Let's just call it for what it is. In this country the so-called control police would rather see two black men murder one another than give each other a kiss.They don't want us loving each other as straight or gay as long as you are black in this country. They want us Dead and and they show it every day in their actions.

I just saw the film for the first time the other day. So this was originally filmed in 2000 and still hasn't gained a DVD release? Maybe it's because the studios have a problem with the final scene where Rockmond Dunbar kisses that guy. And it wasn't a simple kiss. It was a very passionate kiss! I think studios, even if they support gay films, have a problem with seeing two African American men kiss. Most of the films where I've seen a black man kiss another man, its usually interracial.

Patrick-Ian Polk directed PUNKS. What is so awful is that fact that Polk had success with Noah's Arc. He should be able to get HBO or somebody to support PUNKs which is much lighter and just a funny. If Robin Williams, Tyler Perry and more can dress up as women, then I am still wondering why this was never released.

That's a great song and the lyrics work perfectly within the theme of the montage in keeping with the whole Marcus/Darby dynamic. Well done.
