Cheryl won't shop for a new PC. She doesn't think she needs to update her four-year-old computer. So if she won't go the PC store...we'll bring the PCs right to her house. Cheryl, meet your new Windows 7 PC.

  • What I think when I see this ad

"This is Cheryl, this is her perfectly fine but slightly old computer. So to get some quick cash, we invaded her privacy (and home) to set up a bunch of PCs and pressure her into buying something she doesn't need.

*A bunch of other stuff later*

I'm a PC and I've just wasted money on something I don't need"

  • @CrookyJr Well said, though they probably gave her the computer for free. They want US to run out and by a new one. ain't getting my money.

  • This particular wannabe smart PC commercial is so offcode that it makes your feel inert for 31 seconds.

  • That compute

  • @molinaro hi molinaro..im a professional programmer and like you, i use Linux..i however believe all this time that Linux/Ubuntu is an excellent OS for programmer but may far been an artist's OS..im not anywhere near artistic or anything..and i dont know anybody who's an artist who uses Linux on their work..and i havent asked around..not enough at least and apparently..so i wonder what multimedia tools do you use? what exactly are you working on? music? or videos? or images? tnx

  • @molinaro The chance of Ubuntu becoming as popular as windows, or even as popular as OS X is very slim, atleast withing the next 5 years. Maybe in 10 though.

  • @molinaro Most computer-illiterate people cannot use Linux though, as they would not understand anything about it. Windows streamlines it for the person.

  • I use Ubuntu Linux and just a few days ago I thought that I may "never" need to upgrade my computer, that's in 10 years or so or if nothing breaks...

But hurry up to buy Windows 7 PC so you can do it again in a couple of years with a Windows 8 PC...

  • If they tried this with me i would be burning and installing a copy of fedora before the sales guy knew what i was doing

  • its only 4 friggin years old

  • Old computer.... .___. My computer is like from 1990 and it still works....
