I have to thank you for these videos as they really illustrate the microX's capabilities quite well. I do have a question, however.
I am thinking of buying this synthesizer (microX) primarily as an alternative to the ocean of soft-synths that I use. I find them distracting, and would rather be making music on one synthesizer (alongside my guitar). I play 60s psychedelic type of music. Am I right in choosing this synth, or would you recommend something else (in the same price range and size)?

What is your favorite synthesizer?

In terms of a "pure" synthesizer, for making synthetic, electronic type sounds, I could be perfectly happy with only a Virus TI for the rest of my life.
If someone were to strand me on a desert island (with electricity) with a single keyboard, I would want a Yamaha Motif XS, because I am fundamentally a pianist, and my music more often gravitates toward traditional sounds (pianos, strings, winds, drums, bells, guitars, etc.).

Which sounds are from the sampler? I really like the jazzy ones. If you don't have a sampler, can you still use the sounds with just the keyboard?

This synth is not a sampler, and there is no sampler used in this video. All of the sounds are in the keyboard.
