  • In Canada we are licensed through the Solicitor General. We are required to carry our personal locksmith licence at all times while working. The company we work for must have a valid Business locksmith licence. This system works! If the US is having issues dealing with these criminals they should follow the Canadian process.

  • @Securityman1234 Many states do require licensing (like what you mention). Trouble is, in those states these companies don't bother getting the licence. They just operate without it and it's difficult and expensive for states to prosecute. One of the big problems is that there are so many phony listings and phone numbers that customers that have been defrauding, can't remember which they called when they scheduled service...and they're not leaving behind any type of identification.

  • I can understand if they complain about being charged something more than what was discussed on the phone. That much is understandable. But the length of time to complete the job is not an issue. All locksmiths have minimum charges that must be paid. I'm not defending these scammers, but a legit locksmith is worth the money regardless of how fast they perform the work.

  • @PandawdyBob . I think you're correct. A good locksmith will not only perform the job at hand quickly, but they'll do it for the price they quoted you.

  • Best way to solve this...is to restrict the tools to the locksmith scammers...

instead of locksmith licensing in az...they should have a locksmith tool permit with background check...kinda of like when u try to get a gun...

without the tools they cant do the work...

  • Hi Jruno,

Thanks for the comment but it's not necessarily true-especially for residential. What the scammers do is drill the door lock instead of picking it. They tell the customer it's "high security" and must be drilled. This takes no special tools. They then sell the customer a replacement "high security" lock. When all is said in done, they'll charge nearly $300 for a job that should have cost less than 1/4 of that.

  • In British Columbia Canada we have had BC Government locksmith licensing for over 25 years and new tougher regulations two years ago. Unlicensed and Scammer Locksmiths are everywhere here and nothing is being done. Locksmith Licensing and regulations has not been a deterrent in BC. The BBB logo is being used on the Scammer Locksmith sites and BBB has admitted they can do nothing except write letters. Terry Whin-Yates BC LIc B4227

  • @yaronmeir So, you blame the gun (google), not the murderer (scumbag Israeli scammer) who uses it? GIVE ME A BREAK. This IS Israeli organize crime. The scumbags perpetuating these locksmith scams ARE Israeli nationals. We ALL know it. We've seen them. We've dealt with the damage they have caused their customers. Everyday we have to deal with the damage these fuckers have caused our industry. YOU CAN NOT DENY IT IN ANY WAY. THESE ARE ISRAELIS DOING THIS. You know it yet you want to defend them.

  • @VoodooPolitico This Pseudo-Fact is irrelevant. The major problem is Google who contributes to the scams mainly with their Pay-Per-Click service - google collaborates in advertising those scams regardless of the complaints made by the public using Google.

  • Thank You Guys, for accepting our video response. We will win this fight. You can bet on that!

  • I dont see anybody calling them out for what they are. Nationwide-State by state-City by city, these guys are almost all ISRAELI NATIONALS.

This scam is born in Israeli and perpetuated by Israelis here in the US.

They all seem to want to be politically correct and not point out this OBVIOUS FACT.

  • Downfall. NJ locksmiths can work under theyre boss' license. For instance, im a locksmith and can work under my boss locksmith license (almost like and apprentice). so 1000's of these fuckers work under habibu's license
