Dhoul is a traditional folk instrument of various cultures in India and some parts of central Asia its a percussion instrument used mostly on festive occasions.

  • Dudes. come on. Sajadhamdani thanks for introducing this instrument. Though Abdul Salam does need more instruments to sound, like really good and groovey. This solo is a very good demo of the Dhoul. .

    It's beaten with sticks. as far as i know indian percussion is mainly good oldfashion hands-on work. May the beat go on for ages more.
