X-RAY Poker Table: better than any marked cards

This is the latest high-tech poker scam that can be used in private card games, or underground poker clubs, to cheat at poker. This system uses a concealed unit that illuminates through the cards, like an X-ray machine. This image can only be seen by a special video camera that is concealed somewhere above the table. The video signal is viewed on a monitor in a separate room, and the information is secretly communicated to a player. The split screen shows a side-by-side comparison of the same action shot with two difference cameras. The image on the left was shot with a regular video camera, and shows what the human eye would be able to see, while the image on the right was shot with the special juice camera system. No marked cards are used.

OK, but how can someone just win against a game with a built-in negative expectation, just by "being good" at it? There's not such thing as being good at blackjack, without using some kind of strategy, whether it be cheating, advantage play, card counting or shot term luck (any number of hands below 10,000 is short term; in other words, up to 10,000 hands results are indistinguishable form luck).

@CardsharkOnline is completely right. Your fathers streak does not make statistical sense. Like a coinflip you can get heads a few times in a row but over time its 50/50. BJ has the odds against your father. He should not win as much as you claim.

thats not entirely true. u can win long term at a few differnt games. for example my dad has been playin blackjack for like 20 years and he's pretty good. he doesnt know how to count cards but he is good. and he makes a good chunck of change when he playes. 2 years ago we were in aruba on vacation and in 3 nights my dad made enough to pay for the whole trip and whole nother trip, thats like 15g's. idk maybe hes just lucky.

Casinos are built with the money from people who play at casinos. But mostly from the casino games where the house has a distinct advantage.

With poker they only take a rate, that is their income. With poker the money you win or lose does not go to the casino, it goes to the players. That is why poker is the only game in the casino you can win money with long term.
