The Thummer™ is a new musical instrument that is more expressive, easier to learn, and expands musical horizons.

In music education, the Thummer can help
- Beginners SUCCEED in understanding and playing music
- Music teachers SUCCEED in teaching more students more music at a faster rate, thereby gaining a competitive advantage that could result in earning more money from the same teaching load

In music performance and composition, the Thummer can help musicians
- Look and sound different enough to be interesting, but not so different as to be weird
- Get more out of the other music gear they've already paid for
- Play with more emotional expression
- Explore musical effects that have never before been possible
- Gain a deep understanding of Western music theory
- Apply this understanding, more easily than ever, to the music of other times and cultures

  • Fortunately, it looks like we've (finally!) lined up the funding needed to bring the Thummer to market. These ideas are much easier to "get" once you've got your hands on an actual Thummer, so putting them into production will help a lot.

  • It looks like this controller isn't yet available through Thomann. Have you considered arrangements for them to carry your product? It would increase its visibility in northern europe rather markedly.

  • i want one

  • hey, when is this going to happen? can wait to thum around on one.

  • I cannot believe that nobody has left a single message in almost 2 years! This device is quite interesting! I specially like the layout, moving laterally you have a tone and if you cross in diagonal two lines upward, a semitone. cool! In addition, the presenter (is that Jim Plamondon?) shows it very well, I can understand what is he wants to express... Unfortunately, people don't understand that these layouts are much more clever, expressive and easy to play. Hopefully this will change soon.
