BlackTree TV's own Jamaal Finkley, sits down to talk with RDJ for his movie the Soloist. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. (Steve Lopez) has evolved into one of the most respected actors in Hollywood. In addition, Downey was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
In 2000, Downey co-starred with Michael Douglas and Toby Maguire in "Wonder Boys" directed by Curtis Hanson, in which he played a bisexual literary agent. In April 2000, he appeared alongside Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy in the hit comedy "Bowfinger."

He also played the villain opposite Annette Bening and Aidan Quinn in "In Dreams" directed by Neil Jordan.
In 1998, Downey co-starred with Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes in "U.S. Marshals" directed by Stuart Baird; and with Heather Graham and Natasha Gregson Wagner in the critically acclaimed "Two Girls and a Guy" directed by James Toback.
In 1997, Downey was seen in Robert Altman's "The Gingerbread Man" along with Kenneth Branagh, Daryl Hannah and Embeth Davitz; and "One Night Stand" directed by Mike Figgis and starring Wesley Snipes and Nastassja Kinski.

On November 23, 2004, Robert Downey Jr. released his debut album, "The Futurist," on the Sony Classics label. The album, which contains eight original songs, showed off his sultry singing voice.
-Jamal,
I have a couple of questions for you. If you could answer them I would be most appreciative.
First: What did RDJ mean when he said he just wanted to keep his side of the street clean when you asked about his involvement with organizations that benefit society?
Second: Who would you love to interview if you could choose anyone and what is one question you would ask them?
Thanks for your videos. Love the interviews.

gl28byu - I Think RDJ meant that he has been through a lot himself, he has a pretty storied past. So I think he is saying that he does not want to pass judgment on other people, something that we should all take into consideration.
2nd - That is a good question, I don't know if I have really thought about it. A couple of interesting people I would like to interview are: Nelson Mandela, Obama, Cheney, Bush, Chavez, and other heads of state. Michael Jackson, Al Pacino, Brad Pitt, Sean Penn...
