When a film is based on a novel, it’s rare to find an actor that fits the author’s description of a character perfectly. Matt Bomer is a talented actor and his appearance, voice, mannerisms and facial expressions make him the obvious choice for this role. I don’t understand why any other actor is even being considered. It’s as though E. L. James had him in mind.

People seem to have forgotten Rock Hudson and Richard Chamberlain – both gay actors with successful careers as leading ladies’ men. It’s already been done and Matt Bomer is a talented actor. I’m sure he can play the role very convincingly. Most of us fantasize about the character and not the actor and have a tight enough grip on reality to tell the difference between the two. I find him more believable as Christian Grey than any of the other heterosexual actors I’ve seen.

Mat is absolutly perfect Christian Grey, he looks totally like 50 shades!!! I can believe he is gay, I don´t know If I can believe him all lust and desire for women when I know he has a boyfriend :(
