The blonde young man in the video is one of Dave's songs, I think. I think he's supposed to be Ray's character - younger.

@DoctorFingers it is gone now, yours is the only one up (with the original video.) i love this video so much, it always brings tears to my eyes at the end.

According to Doug Hinman, Dave was originally in the video, but something untoward happened, as usual!
Nontheless I think it is an interesting video - not quite sure who all the characters are - obviously Ray is playing his father. Is the other main male character/lost soldier his mother's brother or just "a friend"? Is there a dark significance to the way he pushes the other woman's hand away?
