@Filislusk That’s because on the studio version, it is thick with about three different harmony melody lines that have been layered up. I’ve never heard a live version of her singing its highest harmony, despite being so incredible, except in a video of her singing it in a studio recording.

The refrain lacks any kind of power because she's singing it allmost an octave lower than on the studio version, really anticlimatic and quite pathetic too because its really not that high a refrain, any alto voice should be able to handle it.
