This was so epic! A non-stop completely express ride all the way to floor 42! This totally beats the Marriott Marquis, speed and scenic wise. This elevator was so fast and powerful that it actually created a wind-tunnel! AND it's and Elevonic WITH luxury! This is by far the fastest and smoothest traction elevator I have ever ridden! The view is breath-taking and the ride in unforgettable. This is a public elevator, but it closes when the restaurant is closed. At one point, it was accessible at floor 1, but it is no longer. I am so happy I had the chance to ride this! This is the most EPIC elevator you will find.

Technical Specs:
Brand- Otis
Type- Elevonic 411/Gearless Traction
Fixtures- Otis Luxury/Series 4
Speed- Whopping 1400 FPM Serving only 2 Floors!
Installed- 2008

  • Epic!! GO OTIS!!!

Awwwww- why is there a Mets fan in the end-YANKEES!!!!

  • @cordizzle4life This kind of video is like porn for elevator enthusiasts.

  • Jeez I would've pissed my pants riding that thing (I'm afraid of heights)

  • Best elevator I've ever seen"

  • Awsome!

  • @elevatorgeek762 Gen2 is OTIS's MRL application. Elevonic is the name of OTIS's modern-day traction controller.

  • @suzzex : What is the difference between a GEN2 and Elevonic 411? If at least one of the elevators has an elevonic 411 with over 500 FPM as gearless traction, the other one with less than 500 FPM Speed should be geared, true?
