I remember when I rode the Q37 once when I was 6 when it was Green Lines. I rode it from Jamaica/111st to Atlantic/111st. That was so quick.

Roadeos..not bad. Stengel should use one it's Orions for the this refuse business you mentioned. LoL. Thnks for the #8207.
As for the tailpipe, the rooftop was optional early on before the S50; however, once the S50 became standard in RTS's, rooftop tailpipes were fully established, and no longer ''optional''. Before the DD50 repowerings of 1996-97, I'm not sure how many RTS's had rooftop tailpipes. Some RTS's may have been fitted with a new AC housing with exhaust provisions.

This place changed a LOT in a few years.

Probably. They're common on the Q27 and Q88.

Oh, so they're all QV. Anyway, just saw another 1990 TMC in Flushing, but it was too far to make out the #..but it was on H. Harding Expwy, so had to have been an 88 right. It was probably a # you've already got a video of I'm guessing too.
By da way, do you know if Queens or NY has any TMC's without the left side roof-top exhaust. Man that would be a throwback, like seeeing a GM almost.

Actually, the TMC used at Stengel to store garbage still has a 6v92TA, so no, it doesn't. I thought it was 8210 but it obviously isn't. I think its a 82XX

There were some 6V-92TA powered RTS's that were using the rooftop tailpipe option, IIRC. Btw, did you hear the engine running?
But for Stengel to be using it in such a disrespectful manner, as refuse container, is extremly irritating. They obviously have not a grain of respect for RTS's anymore.

There were? I thought the rooftop tailpipe was installed for the Series 50. I didnt hear it running, but it had no roof tailpipe. And it was 8207. It shows up for roadeos, so you can hear it leaving at the end or something.
