Environmentalism As Religion: The Legal Definition

The legal definition of "religion" in the U.S. is something akin to "anything you believe so strongly it affects how you live." Regardless of whether or not that fits a Christian definition, being relativistic in its assumptions, it does give Christians occasion to consider the environmentalist movement as something aside from what propaganda would have us believe.
