The funny thing is, Season #1 did do just that. Missus Peacock committed the murder in two different episodes while the Reverend Green ended that season with a clean record.

Mrs Peacock in the first Series was the murderer twice and i believe the Reverend green didn't kill at all, so they were not always taking in turns to be murderer, although they did in this series. I wish they would bring it back and make it a longer series like 8 or 10 episodes so you cannot guess who the killer is.

Christian28 you're completely on the ball. Furthermore I think they're insulting the viewer's intelligence not least by doing 6 episodes each time-there should be about 12, 16, 20. So if it goes killing wise-Ms Scarlett, Rev Green, Col Mustard, Mrs White, Ms Scarlett, Prof Plum, Rev Green, Col Mustard, Mrs Peacock, Mrs Peacock, Mrs White, Col Mustard, Col Mustard, Rev Green, Mrs White, Mrs White-it would hardly be a problem but played properly!

Finally-someone else has noticed how naff it is that they kill in turn! Actually this one was the worst of the lot. Not only does Colonel Mustard only ever use strangling weapons and no one else does-certainly not the 'weedy' women, Mrs Peacock never ever does it anywhere but her bloody Study! And I hated the way the 'sleuths' wasted time when you could get it from the start. And what's Madeley on about-gory details-you don't see a thing-and the lazy women only used that cos it was IN her Study!
