Often your attention is drawn mainly to the female half of a skating pair. But Charlie is an incredibly strong skater, and when he isn't "presenting" Meryl to the audience, he has such power and such control.

They both have such great hair. Last year, it was his hair that told the story of S&D. This year, her hair tells the story of Phantom. Look at the lift at 3:26. Her hair is its own special effect.
