  • This principle will prove pretty useless in practice, if power is surrendered to centralized governance, how could people speak out against the institute that controls what they depend upon for survival?

  • @radroatch because they idea was discussed, not forced. them same applies to the collective ownership of a factory.

  • I always call out my friends when they something racist or discriminatory. I encourage more people to do it too.

Also someone today said that Mao's china made suicide rise. I put the guy and propaganda in his place.

  • @wesleysonic Yea that's a complete load of bullshit. The suicide rate among women sky rocketed for peasant women in the last three years.

  • I like Mao Zedong but I hate Deng Xiaoping !!!

  • I don't understand, is Mao saying that a liberal society is don't take part in the decision making of your government, collective etc. then complain after it gets passed?

  • Good video.

    I agree.

  • Thank you for making this video because I have read this work before, and the way that we use the term "liberalism" today was kind of confusing me on what Mao actually meant. Once again, thank you for explaining this topic.

  • @MaoistRebelNews2

…The reason collective ownership works so well for the general interest is because it has structures for social accountability, the control is not surrendered

While I do agree with many of the principles in this video I believe that social responsibility should be entrusted and maintained in the hands of an educated public. I also think that this definition of liberal is largely altered from its technical meaning, much as the words is under modern interpretation
