skatr45s: im im not mistaken the flugelhorn is in the key of F. Therefore to play a Bb scale, you would use the F scale fingerings for trumpet.

@cjstclair This flugelhorn and most flugelhorns are in the key of Bb just like the standard Bb trumpet. You may be thinking of the French Horn.

Yes, it's a Bb instrument very similar to trumpet, but with a mellower sound. This is a great rendition of a wonderful song!
