Dear Charlie

First off I want to say I love Charlie Pride. Who doesn't?
But when I was trying to write my songs for the first tape, I had Kitty Wells in my head.
So with thoughts of the Honky Tonk Angel, the answer to The Wild Side of Life......Dear Charlie came to be.
It is the answer to the song Does My Ring Hurt Your Finger.
So assuming there are two sides to every story....and maybe the man is
a jealous sort...well listen to the song and let me know what you think.

Your song is very well done and sung. It could have been written many other ways but your way is just fine. The words depict a woman of good character who responds in the right way.
