Think of all the chemicals that could induce paralysis or heart palpitations, dropping blood pressure. Even nitroglycerin spray could have some of these effects. I guess you'd start with what is absorbed in the mucosal membrane & is not going to last long enough in the blood for a toxicology check.

Does ANYONE have ANY idea what the aerosol device is that they spray into his mouth? I can't find out anything about it and I am curious because I've never seen any other media show it.

Interestingly, we experimented with putting music in this scene. Even the slightest tone/drone/atmosphere made the scene less intense. Just a fantastic piece of filmmaking that, thankfully, was left dry and subsequently so much more terrifying.

This movie has one of the best editing I have ever seen

Yeah. Looked like maybe tried to hit the heart. Looked along the lines of a cattle prod type thing or taser type thing. From my readings the Mossad Kidon squads used this techniqiue so that it would look like a heart attack or something similar so as not to look like an assassination.

I can tell they studied the mannerisms of paramedics. this is very reminiscent of how we would deal with a person in full arrest. very focused and methodical. except, you know. the other way around.
