Just a quick review of the Panavise 809 window camera mount.

bottom line great product, it's strong, durable, does not shake much as you can see in the vid.

  • This may be a dumb question after seeing you pick up the glass table with the mount, but do you think its strong enough to hold on at 70mph on the exterior of the vehicle (i.e. the sunroof/windshield)?

  • @belizetj i guess it might depens on the weight of the camera as well, but i had a helmet camera on it and went on the highway and had no problems

  • @superdelsol My camera is a little Cannon Powershot. Id say it weighs less than a pound.

Helmet cam on a motorcycle or a bicycle?

  • @belizetj it was on the motorcycle, and lets just say i wasnt following the speed limit and it stayed on

  • So it wont stick to glass that is curved? im a student pilot and i wanted to get one to mount on the windsheild of a Cessna.

  • @MrAviation101 well it all depends on how much of a curve, i looked up pics of a cessna i think it shuold be fine, the only reason i could not put it on the car windshield is that the camera would have to be upside down cause of the angle of the window.

  • @superdelsol Nice. lol

  • @MrAviation101 I was looking for a mount, to fit in a F-16, but considering that has even more curve and experiences up to 9 G (my 0.650 kg camera would be come 5.85 kg) And i don't think there is any suction mount on the market to support that kind of weight, stress...

  • Contact PanaVise and have them send you an extension for the mount...I believe all you need is the Patent # on the mount itself when you call them...

  • @miamad cool thanks for the tip,
