@larrydonguy This song was recorded in 1988, when Sinatra was 72 years old. By then he's allowed to be off.

Not the sharpest recording here. Sinatra's voice sounds a bit murky. Also not the best song for a breezy uptempo recording. It doesn't sound as if the singer was really that concerned about whether it was love or fascination.

There is a line between love and fascination... True... and it's not so easy to discern them. When a strong feeling blazes up, it seems that it's love, and when remains only the charred brand, we realize that it wasn't love... ♫♫♫♫♫
Wonderful song, so true to life! Many thanks for posting!

Frank Sinatra did the vocal after the tracks were laid down. The great Billy May lets the band grove and the trumpeter Jack Sheldon swings it out as well.
Later-and oddly-a duet was made with Frank Jr. singing with Sr.
Billy May wrote some nice things for Frank Jr. over the years.
I've never heard this before - I can tell it's late in Frank's career, but when was it recorded?
