{CTS} creative thriftshop in conjunction with Dam Stuhltrager Gallery is proud to present Ron Rocco's solo exhibition Shake Up! curated by Lynn del Sol as the fourth exhibition in its series of the gallery's sponsorship program East/West Project. The 400 pound house composed entirely of waste is enshrine he examines concepts of home, community and civilization. This is juxtaposed with the impending violence of the storm, projected from the video and the invasion of tracks from trucks, automobiles, and motorcycles encircling the room. In this way the work hints at the encroachment upon, and destruction of our natural environment on a global scale.
