@chucknorris22222 Nice the 3.9 is a good engine. Overall The G^ is a very strong car, super reliable, and nice quiet car.

Overall the g6 is quiet nice easy to tune not hard to work on however I own 2 a 2007 3.9 v6 and a 2010 2.4 4 cylinder and my 2007 kicks the piss out of any modern v6 (stock) that iver run against mustangs camaro ect havnt been beat yet and its currently 102,000 miles and with normal maint still runs like new

@chucknorris22222 Against a 2011 Mustang 3.7L DOHC V6, You're down 40 ft-lbs. of torque, & down 65HP+ ( Guessing you have either an Impala 3.9L or an Uplander 3.9L ) Additionally, the 3.7L delivers it's Torque & HP at lower RPM.
Against a 2010 Mustang V6 which uses the boat anchor 4.0L, then you've got me agreeing with you totally :P

Blunt opinion is perfectly fine. Haha. Preferred actually. Just don't want her getting into a piece of s**t. She's lookin at a brand new malibu also. So you think she should go with the malibu instead?

@my08impalass
Not that I'm a fan of Malibu but I would much rather go for the Malibu instead of the G6 any day.

My opinion is that the car isnt that big of a deal really. Its made of leftover GM parts & uses lots of GM Tech & quality from 2004. I'm sorry if I sounded blunt.... If the car is a total steal over anything else better & newer, then I can understand but I dont really recommend it if the price difference is little. The pontiac name isnt coming back & that alone kills resale too. Its beats a Corolla, Kia Rio, or Chrysler sebring tho LOL....
