i have a 9800gt video card 3 gigs of ram should i have my resolution to the max with all other graphics maxed or turn down the res a bit. and does directx10 make a difference if its on

@archolon Now I get why my 1080p video doesn't fill this YouTube screen. I can record 1080p videos, but it doesn't show the whole image in the TV/Monitor. What I mean is that the whole screen image doesn't fit my TV/Monitor.
