*Piece-by-piece, this project is FINALLY coming together.*

Returning champion, Matthew with $35,000 plays against Chris, an Advance Auto Parts worker who likes to hang out. This is part 1 of this breath-taking project of Blockbusters.

*The other parts of the project will come up as they are saved. They are in progress as we speak*

  • Don't you ever let anyone boss you around (like those controlling men you see on Maury) or tell you what projects to do EVER for the rest of your life!!

  • I was considering doing the Cullen version, quite honestly

  • great job mike

  • Thanks

  • I was hoping you'd do the Cullen version, as it was far superior, but oh well.

  • What was wrong with this version?

  • Lets play Blockbusters.

  • It took about three month but we FINALLY have Blockbusters up and running. May I say it looks great, sounds great and feels great too. I can already tell that this "Rafferty" style project fixed the problems that the 1987 version had. As a result we have: better question writing, a true progressive jackpot and substantial amounts of money won. This is going to be a great show I can feel it.

  • @4: I'm referring to v=3NQnB0v4N58 for an example of what a good set looks like.

Also, one thing I forgot in my initial post: you've been getting a lot better about not getting sidetracked. Unfortunately, there were still enough sidetracks to grind the pace to a halt--as evidenced by the fact that only TWO main games got completed. This is something you could work on for your next project.

  • 3. Does each game show REALLY have to offer Matthew Lesko-esque inflated payouts just because it's 2009? $5,000 for winning a match just seems excessive.

    4. The background of the set is a gradient texture. Whoop-de-doo. This is the "void" TotallyShifty complains about. I think a little more effort on creating a background image (you can do this in PP) would go a long way.

    5. A serious question: Was this game played legitimately? Or are you just making up the gameplay?

  • Michael, this is coming from someone who really does appreciate the effort you put in, so please don't delete this comment. Here is my review of this game:

    1. Questions are A LOT better than the last few shows, particularly regarding pet subjects.

    2. Why do you keep the clips of yourself flubbing up stuff when you can easily rerecord it? I know unintentional bloopers sometimes become funny moments, but this REALLY comes off as amateurish.
