Amtrak Empire Builder #7 leaves the Winona depot in the distance and heads west. They were only running on the first unit because the second one had cooling fan issues. It was going to be set out in Minneapolis and then Amtrak was going to be led by a freight engine from there.

  • I wish that the Amtrak Crescent could be pulled by the diesel locomotives that pull freight trains, those locomotives would look cool pulling Amtrak trains, especially the Crescent.

  • isn't that why many trains have duel locomotives? isn't one enough? i mean, the texas eagle and c.o.n.o (city of n. orleans) run just fine on one.

  • I could barily dee a biker cross the tracks when the gates were down. Look at 00:22.

  • I wish my train was pulled by a freight, those things are strong!

  • Great video!
