Lightning Storm in Apopka, Florida, 2010

September is the month when Floridians are treated to early-evening lightning storms. To let one pass without notice is a shameful thing! The brilliance and the power strikes awe in the heart and can stop people in their tracks. I only wish I had a more suitable video camera to bring the sheer vibrance to you.

This took place on September 11, 2010 over the Florida town of Apopka. It was filmed from Winter Springs. It went on for at least and hour. I compressed a lot of that activity in about a minute and 20 seconds for you.
