Highlights of QB Dayne Crist, #45 on TAKKLE/Sports Illustrated top 100. Crist has verbally committed to Notre Dame. One of the top five quarterback prospects in the country, Crist combines size, toughness and a strong arm. Dayne has chosen to take his talents to Notre Dame and work under offensive guru Charlie Weis. He is not quite Brady Quinn, but his ability gives him the potential to be a pro someday.

#1 is Mike Stanton, now with the Florida Marlins. I am an alum of SO Notre Dame and most of the footage in this video was Dayne Crist's Jr. year. This class (not his Sr. year) had the most talent. Mike Stanton went straight to the Marlins, Anthony McDonald (at Univ. ND), and both Shane and Wes Horton (both at USC)

  • Just looks like a bunch of fast receivers blowing by the secondary...I don't know if there was a timing pattern in the whole video. The guy can throw the deep ball...apparently he had a ton of practice with receivers like that.

  • does anyone know what who #1 is? man crist is bombing them but #1 looks fast as hell catching it.

  • Does nobody remember how Brady was his first two years he sucked because of the line just like cLausen and his Junior year he came out just like Clausen will after this though if he still sucks we need Dayne but what I am saying is that Shaquelle evans and Cierre Wood and Ej banks and Tyler Stockton and MANTI TE'O have got me already counting down the days HAHAHA I am so excited man if anybody wants to talk some ND Sports( INcluding Our BBALL team) come talk to me I got so much to say GO IRISH

  • after surgery being a true freshman and oh yea a line that gave up 58 sacks your saying that hes not the next Brady? Last year he never had a chance, now a year later hes older, the lines older and bigger, and he has a stable to RBs and WRs that will be a threat to any team. Now he has to prove himself-again last year he had no chance.

  • Crist seems to have a legit arm I still question Clausens alittle. I know that Clausen had surgery to remove a bone spur before the start of the season. I hate to say it but everything about Crist seems legit without the hype. Size, frame, arm, just need some coaching with mechanic's. Regardless Clausen will be that starter in the beginning of the season.

  • Why is everyone giving up on Clausen? I hate to make excuses but how many freshman step in and tear it up right away? especially when your on your ass every other play because your line is almost as inexperienced as he is. But if Clausen sucks or gets hurt Crist seems like a great insurance policy. go irish!

  • Dayne has what it takes to beat out Clausen.

Clausen was a man playing with boys in HS, being a year older and in Div 10. Crist has been in Div 1 his two years as a starter. Smart, talented kid.

  • Well, we thought Clausen would be the next Brady...oh well

  • I think he could be the next Brady!
