Canon 5d Mark II with Røde Stereo VideoMic Indoor Audio Test

This is about as inclement an indoor test as I could conjure, replete with an iMac blaring a 60s television show in the background and actual kids yelling. This is meant to test the directional capabilities of the stereo version of Røde's mono VideoMic, and to see how it would capture a loud birthday party, subway station, or other cacophonous setting.

Comments welcome, especially from 5d outboard microphone specialists.

great test, hey it's been over 2 years since you made this, what are your feelings about it now? are you still impressed, I'm thinking of getting one, anyway thanks this sounds great and the video quality is amazing and I'm watching the 360p version, also what seems to be the setting you've stuck with the most ie the gain, high pass blah blah preferred settings...basically to save me trial and error-ring, thx.
