After almost a month and a half of knowing each other in our block apartment, the young Jays finally arrived at their home -- Baneasa forest, Bucharest. They merely had a tail when we found them. Then the younger brother almost lost a wing -- the feathers kept falling until we moved them from the cage in our dormitory. They learned together how to eat, wash, hide the food, chat and talk. In the end, they were loosing the baby feathers and had quite good flights around the room. They adored wax cherries so we released them in a place full of wax cherry trees, near an oak forest, in the vicinity of a village. I think they must be very well by now, on their own.
